Extent of the unit of description
Standard Reference: ISAD(G) 3.1.5 Format: Free text - Controlled vocabulary, drop-down list. Purpose: To identify and describe: a. the physical or logical extent and b. the medium of the unit of description. Rule: For the description of the archival unit, record the linear shelf space or cubic storage space of the unit of description. Record the extent of the unit of description, the sub-fonds, series, and folder archival level descriptions, by giving the number of physical or logical units in Arabic numerals and the unit of measurement.
